This one day intensive certification event is only for established home improvement businesses or experienced installers. Once completed you are eligible to promote yourself as a Profitter certified installer and be offered the ability to add you or your business to our Profitter directory where homeowners can find you/your business and confirm the skills you hold.
Becoming a Profitter completely divides you/your business from your competitors and puts you at the forefront of your customers choice when making a decision whom to award their project to.
Profitter has a variety of large partners across the industry who both support and endorse our training centre. Alongside these partnerships, we are proud to be externally accredited through the industries leading certification body GQA. They assess, certify and monitor our one of a kind training centre / courses. Peace of mind you are being monitored by a reputable training provider.
So what can you expect from this event?
So 95% of your one day certification event is spent hands on in our main training centre demonstrating your skills to our trainer and assessor. 
On the morning of your certification day you will be met by your assessor who will provide a brief introduction to the Profitter training/assessment centre. Following this introduction the assessor will then discuss the format of the day and what you will be asked to complete.
Your course assessor has over 20+ years in the industry, spanning both commercial and retail (homeowner) installation experience, manufacturing skills and construction. Having acquired practical, time spent knowledge in the full survey / installation of windows, doors & conservatories as well as being accredited by GQA, your trainer is recognised across the industry as one of the best. You are in good hands.
The skills you will need to demonstrate
ProFitter certifcation ratings run through B-E however your certification day will be tailored to only assess you on competencies you have experience in…………….In short you can only be assessed on products you know how to install.
We do not expect you to be perfect in your competencies so although no formal training is provided at this event, our assessor is there to help. The assessor will provide tips and pointers to aid you in obtaining certification but also to perfect your fitting skills if he sees moderate issues in some of your product installations.
The key products that we assess installers on (and dependant on what products you tell us you want to be assessed on) can be based on the full installation of: 
- UPVC Windows, Doors, French Doors and Patio Doors
- UPVC Bifold Doors
- Composite Doors
- UPVC Vertical Sliding Windows
- Aluminium Windows / Doors
- Variation of Bay Windows
Basic removal skills must also be explained to your assessor regarding the correct/safe methods for removing existing windows/doors.
This is a fantastic way to separate you from your competitors and make you and/or your business shine.
